Are there any requirements for study participants?
Anyone from 18 to 65 years of age can become a study participant for us at Beiersdorf, in exceptional cases, with consent of parents, already at the age of 16.
Requirements or inclusion criteria are: general good health and healthy undamaged skin on the test sites used in our studies, such as the inner forearms and face.
Participation in the Study Center is only possible after a positive dermatological examination.
Why is a dermatological examination so important?
The dermatological examination not only determines your general state of health, but also specifically analyses your skin type. These special criteria enable us to invite you to suitable studies in a targeted manner.

What happens after my initial registration as newly interested?
After you have registered with us, we will contact you to arrange an appointment for a dermatological aptitude test. This appointment is mandatory in order to be able to participate in studies later on.
How do I get an initial appointment with the study center's dermatologist?
Our service team will contact you as soon as possible after your registration and your interest in participating in studies at our Study Center.
What is cardio screening?
As part of ardio screening, your general state of health and therefore your suitability for studies in our sauna and hotroom area will be checked.
Why do we need cardio screening?
This is important to ensure that you do not have any cardiovascular problems.

Which studies can I participate in after cardio screening?
After a positive cardio screening, you can receive invitations to deodorant/antiperspirant studies at our Beiersdorf Study Center.
