STUDY PARTICIPATION

Important criteria for suitability for a particular study design are the individual skin condition, your age, your gender and whether you are not eligible for certain studies.

The dermatological examination not only determines your general state of health, but also specifically analyses your skin type. These special criteria enable us to invite you to suitable studies in a targeted manner.

Late arrivals or unexcused absences often disrupt very closely coordinated study plans and, in the worst case, render the entire test results unusable. Sometimes this can lead to exclusion from the respective study.

Cancelling early allows us to substitute a standby study participant if necessary or to adjust the daily schedule of the study.

Cancellation can lead to a reduction in your financial compensation, as can unexcused absence. In both cases, you may be excluded from participating in the study and your financial compensation may be cancelled.

Acclimatization serves to acclimatize you and your skin to the climatic conditions during the measurements. If acclimatization is necessary prior to your study date, you will find this information in your study documents. If you have any questions, please contact our team at the Study Center.

To simplify the process, you will receive a sticker with a scannable QR code at our Study Center. We simply stick this on your volunteer card.

Your financial compensation will be instructed for payment at the end of a study at the latest. The amount will be credited to your specified account. If you have any questions about this, please contact our service team.

Unexcused absences from a study date or non-compliance with the study requirements will lead to reductions or withholding financial compensation, and in some cases even to exclusion from the study. The amount of the reduction is a case-by-case decision, which we reserve the right to make.
