SKIN AGING

Skin Aging – A Natural Process Starting in Our Mid-20

From our mid-20s, our skin begins to change gradually – a completely natural process. Two main factors play a role: our genes and external influences such as sun exposure, stress, or nutrition.
Over time, the skin produces fewer essential substances like hyaluronic acid and collagen. As a result, it becomes thinner, drier, and loses firmness. Wrinkles begin to form, and the skin may appear tired or less radiant.
This process can’t be completely prevented – but with good skincare, sun protection, and a healthy lifestyle, much can be done to keep the skin looking smooth and vibrant for longer.

What Happens During Skin Aging?

As time goes by, our skin changes – it becomes thinner, drier, and rougher, and the first fine lines appear.
In the deeper layers of the skin, the amount of collagen and elastin decreases – two key substances responsible for firmness and elasticity. The skin becomes looser and less resilient. Blood circulation and nutrient supply also decline, slowing down regeneration and promoting deeper wrinkles.

Can Skin Aging be Stopped?

Skin aging cannot be completely stopped. However, with good skincare, sun protection, and a healthy lifestyle, you can do a lot to keep your skin looking fresh and elastic for longer.
